Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Reading a few posts back, someone blamed Bush, someone blamed Congress, someone even blamed you and me. The thing to remember is to stop the blame and stop playing their game. The powers that be planned all this, and if you don't believe it then google the BILDERBURGERS. (hope I have that spelled right.) There are many important people in this society like the Clinton's the Bushes and many others from government, business and royalty. When the proverbial poop hits the fan, they will be the ones left after all the genocide is done. The time is here, take advantage of the high gas prices and stay home with your families and get close to them. If they are far away, pull them in closer. If you are a person of faith, bring your divine entity in your home and get right with them. My sincere hope is that you all survive the next coming hurdle which will be this winter when heating fuel and electricity goes through the ceiling and gas is $5.00 a gallon. Myself, I work for minimum wages and I commute 25 miles one way a day. So, who knows? I have faith though and that they can't take away from me.

Here's to all of you, God Bless and hopes for a brighter tomorrow.

hey folks! wake up! the FDIC is run by our federal government! our federal government is broke! so you all are telling me that if us little people have under $100,000 in our banks that we are not going to loose it...let me tell you, those big shots in Washington and the big shots running these banks are going to get their money out before us little people do...wake up America! my money comes out on Monday! and we have a president that makes fun on our wall street when he thinks the camera's are not running! let him come out here and live like the rest of us are living! he would not know what to do .... none of the people in Washington would....
good luck America...it's really sad ....

i think of a comedian from years ago who said,we have democrats on one side and republicans on the other and then theres the people wondering the two of them are going to do to us next.if an honest politician is ever elected,a few weeks in the system changes them forever.big corporate money changes them and when they retire they become a board member or lobbyist.we have the best government that money can buy.people won't stand together against government anymore.we've slept while rome is burning.this should be the finest country on the planet, but the wealthy have full control.we're coming apart at the seams.no matter what party you belong to americans should stand together instead of depending on politicians and stop letting them give away our country.there are way too many monopolies.ok i'm through venting.i love honest hard working americans and symphathize with them.

hi forgot was going to say...tired of hearing about the usa election, hilary & obama also the problems with banking and housing too, i know there are alot of wise people here, read a few but I am concerned for things to get rough for us all is what i really wanted to say,no matter where we live. I know my writing is terrible like me, too lazy today to write right, thank-you and bye I live in winnipeg manitoba canada, all I can say about here is, its tough to work and have daycare so it is a problem to get on your feet to build a better life if you are isolated from everything due to poverty and the lack of family support. Boy, if I get through this I am sure i am going see it doesn't happen to any more, this is pathetic to raise kids in a social state, for god sake make it liveable for us destitute, this is too much to leave our kids in NO decent care. Child care is inadequate and not strong in canada to help us single minimum wage earners get jobs and on our feet. $200. doesnt make a difference;is really what it ends up after all the expenses to institutionalize their d=care, better off at home, but even that is crumbling. LOOK at the 50% loans on child tax cheques now. OK BYE..oh sorry I did not know it took the last comment,oh well, holding my chin up,a future will arrive!!

With these two bank collapses, does anyone know if the people who had over the 100K lost their uninsured money with the sale to Mutual?

Any word when all these banks will return to private hands? Or is further Federal control over our money the point?

I think that the article said they were immediately sold to another bank, so they are still part of a private bank.
